No. The ink is UV-cured directly onto your wall surface — no film, no seams, no peeling edges. Up close, it has the texture of the wall itself. Photo-realistic doesn't mean glossy or plastic-y. It means you can read individual details at 2880 DPI.
Drywall, brick, stone, wood, glass, metal, and most painted concrete. The wall needs to be reasonably flat (we can handle moderate texture) and clean. Heavily glossy or oily surfaces may need light prep — we'll tell you upfront after seeing a photo.
